DUBB MARTIN - Keyboard, Vocals

Dubb was born in the beautiful hills of Tennessee and comes from a family of musicians.  Moving to Virginia at a very young age took him away from the family music, but it was not long before Dubb found new friends and good musicians here.  He has worked with several groups in Virginia over the years and has played everything from country to funk.  Blues is the base for Dubb's music with rich piano and warm hammond organ being his style.  Dubb’s collaboration with Brad Kinder on other projects proved to be most beneficial when Brad called and offered an audition with Random Play.  Now, Dubb says, “I feel right at home with these guys and I love the variety.”

Dubb uses a Korg triton extreme 88 and a Nord electro 73 through a QSC power supply and JBL speakers.

Listener Quotes: "Perfect & tasteful playing with a ton of soul."; "Beautiful tone there!!! Sweet natural seasoned playing. VERY nice!"; "bad to the bone, great tone and a true roots sound."; "I can't decide if it's like hearing BB King in Memphis or rolling into some dark joint in the Louisiana Bayou or BOTH. Either way, this is outstanding."
